After giving a lot of thoughts, I came up with the idea of making Chocolate Truffles😀
I use to make them a lot but sadly there would ever be any left for me in the fridge! They seem to disappear VERY fast. I remember the first time my brother and I made Chocolate truffles, it was like HEAVEN! It is so delicious; we would eat one (or maybe more than just one) after every meal. The first time we ever tried it was at our cousin’s place and I remember asking them where they had gotten it from? My cousin -Marium’s response was –“I made it.” I looked at her like she was 3 headed, saying she’s lying! But she did not lie: x
Of course, I had to ask her how she made it. She ended up giving me the whole recipe and how to make it in complicated steps. At first, it did sound complicated. When my brother and I finally decided to make it ourselves, it was not actually too bad. When you get extra hand, things get done a lot faster. You won’t even imagine that they are made out of OREO!!
Now that I have your attention 🙂
Let me list down the materials and tools you would need
- – Oreos– It can be the regular kind or the double stuffed
- – Cream Cheese– Any would do, however I prefer Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- – Hershey Chocolate– Come on what else is better? If you prefer another type- go ahead and use that.
- – Aluminum foil– Just a sheet would do.
- – Tray– Any, you can even use plates if you’d want
- – Bowl– Nothing too big.
- – Spoons– You will need two spoons; this would be used for mixing and dipping.
- – Food processor– Any kind that’ll crunch the Oreos.
Step 1– Blend the Oreos in the food processor until they are fine like powder
Step 2– Place it in the bowl- put in the cream cheese and mix it either using spoon or your hands- Until dough is formed.
Step 3– Take a little ball and roll them up and place it on your tray or plate
Step 4– Put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Step 5– Melt your chocolate in the bowl
Step 6– Take out the frozen Oreos balls from the freezer and drop them in the melted chocolate bowl one by one
Step 7– Using your spoon toss is around to cover it in chocolate
Step 8– Place it on your tray; make sure to place the aluminum foil sheet on the tray first
Step 9 – You’re done! 😀 Put them back in the fridge to let the chocolate harden a little
Step 10– Enjoy the little taste of Heaven!!
Your hard work is now done.
But before munching on them- Put them in the fridge for about half and hour – so that way the chocolate hardens.
then SERVE!! 🙂
There are a lot of tutorials on the internet by regular people that just enjoy what they do and want to share how they did it. I think the reason why people do this is to be able to get their ideas and talents out there. I strongly think what compels them to be able to do this would be the support of someone. It can really be anyone. It can either be their friends or family- even teachers. Just like how my Instructor- Professor Smith got us to make something and be able to present it on our blog.
I think I did pretty well on my “project.” Although, it did not really seem like a “project” because I was having fun with it. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY so since I was making my chocolate truffles and taking PICTURES, it was quite awesome! I really hope people find my steps easy. It is not as complicated as it may look and trust me- your “hard work” will be worth it!!!
